Hollywood Prom is a community-led prom experience for adults with cognitive disabilities. This event is rooted in dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging. Families, friends, and neighbors come together to create a welcoming night where everyone is celebrated, and no one is left out.

Hollywood Prom continues to grow thanks to the dedication of our community. Our Prom Committee now comprises more than 25 individuals representing diverse groups, including families, neighbors, nonprofits, local businesses, schools, and local government. There is still much work to be done and many ways to contribute. If you would like to join the next planning meeting, there is room for you and plenty of opportunities to share your talents.

Dress Collection Underway
Many of our prom attendees are years out of school, and access to formal attire can be limited. Chip In Batavia is collecting dresses to help ensure every attendee feels confident and celebrated on prom night. Community members can support this effort by donating dresses, volunteering during our dress try-on day, or lending a hand behind the scenes. We are also seeking local seamstresses willing to assist with simple alterations.

Hollywood Prom is 100% free for attendees.
This prom is made possible through the generosity of community sponsors, donors, and volunteers. Our goal is to remove financial barriers so every individual can participate and feel celebrated.
We welcome anyone who would like to contribute their time and help. The Prom Committee includes families, neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, schools, and local government partners. You can join by completing the Prom Committee sign-up form on this website. We will follow up with meeting dates and provide information on ways to get involved.
Community sponsorships and donations are welcome and directly support the expenses of prom. If you are interested in making a memorable night, send us an email below.
